France and Scotland begin their 2026 IRL Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup campaigns on Saturday when they meet at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong.

Two-time champions France, who won the title in 2013 and 2017, will be aiming to reclaim the trophy after finishing runners-up to England in 2022.

Scotland, meanwhile, will be looking to improve on their 2022 campaign, when they failed to progress beyond the group stages, and secure a place in the knockout rounds this time around.
