England got their U18s Four Nations campaign underway with a win over a spirited Scotland side who were ultimately outgunned towards the end of the match.
Eligh Wilkinson broke the deadlock 16 minutes into the game, with Will Randall converting. Rio Walker was next in shortly afterwards for the first of his two tries, but Randall was unable to further improve.
Scotland brough themselves into the game as Harrison Goldthorpe found space out wide with Shaun Callen adding the conversion from the touchline.
Trent Ruddy added a further score for England before the break, with Max Fleary converting to make the half time score 16-6 to the hosts.
Scotland held firm for 10 minutes after the break before Walker found his way in for his second, though Fleary missed the conversion.
Goldthorpe battled back for his second for Scotland, with Callen again on target with the boot to keep Scotland in touch.
But England rounded the game out with Ruddy adding his second and Bailey Worthington adding a final score with three minutes to go, with Randall adding the final conversion.
